You're not a spring chicken either!

We went to Broadus two weekends ago. Floyd bought 100 chicks and I decided to take some pictures of them while they are cute. They get ugly and fat pretty quickly. On the second day we woke up to more snow... When does it stop snowing in Montana? July?

Our 1st HOUSE!!!!

Drew & I are buying a house!!! Here it is. We get it at the end of the month. We are super excited.

Easter In Broadus

Well... I'm posting a little late about Easter, but here goes... Levi, Chrystal, & Riley just moved to Broadus and we got to spend time with them over Easter weekend. Riley our niece is a fireball. She plays non-stop but is a sweet little thing. She's also one of the most polite two year olds I've met. Over the weekend we: got to see all the newly born calves, visited the baby horses (who are getting naughty), shot a new gun (standard Montana stuff you know), ate a delicious dinner (Chrystal is a good cook), watched Riley find her eggs, and avoided the evil step family.

Spring Snow

With the severe weather, in this region of the country, we got lucky the snow decided to skip Billings. We got only about 2 inches of snow this week. It was a really pretty wet sticky snow that coated the trees beautifully. Drew's Dad wasn't as lucky and had insane drifts over the tops of cars. I took the opportunity to walk around my neighborhood with my camera and snap a few shots before all the snow melted.
I feel pretty lucky we just got a little snow. It beats floods, earthquakes, and erupting volcanos.

DREW BREW is back!

Drew has made another batch of beer. It's an American Wheat Beer and it's delicious.

New Babies!!!!

Last weekend Drew's Dad got two baby horses. They are nine months old, adorable, and so sweet. He said that one is for me and Chrystal (my sister-in-law) to share. It's very exciting.

Drew's Got Something to Feel "Hoppy" About

A couple of months ago Drew's Dad mentioned that he had seen a vine growing out by an old homestead. There aren't any vines that grow naturally in this part of Montana so he suspected it may be a hops plant. Drew collected a sample and sure enough it is hops. From the sample he got some seeds, and sprouted this little dandy. The neat thing is that since they found the hops growing by an old homestead this vine could have been growing there for the past 100 years or so.

Drew is utterly excited about hops and is now a self-proclaimed "Hops Farmer." Since then he has collected more seeds and is in the germination stage, in the refrigerator.

After a 37 day stay in the body shop my car is back on the road! I'm going to stick to my big beefy American SUV while the roads have ice and snow.

Today I got a message from my dear friend Maggie. She is pregnant and due sometime in later February. She said she is 2cm dilated and her doctor told her to take it easy. The baby will be considered premature if she has it within the next week. I'm quite worried for her and her baby boy and I'm hoping for the best. Positive thoughts...

When It Rains, It Pours

I had another dentist office call me today to invite me in for an interview. I meet the dentist on Thursday morning. Maybe I won't have to work for the crappy office as long as I thought I would have to. I'm still waiting to hear from those periodontists too.. I want to work for them the most.

Update on ME!

I started working at the dentist office two weeks ago and I'm not sure how long I will last at this office. It's not exactly what I had in mind for decent working conditions. They are so unorganized that they call me every single day asking me to come in late. The office manager promised me all these hours and it was all lies. Last week I worked only 14 hours. The bitchy office manager also expects me to be the janitor and mop the floors. I'm going to have to suck it up until something else comes along, but ya not a cool place.

Speaking of cool places, I interviewed with a pair of periodontists last week. They are new to town and asked me to assist them with surgery a couple times a week. They are on vacation in Mexico right now so it's not certain yet if I have a job there. We'll see...

Verizon Wireless missed me so much they asked me to come back for the month of January. I've been there everyday that I'm not at the crappy dentist office. Thank goodness for VZW because the hours at the dentist are so irregular.

My poor car is in the shop being repaired. It's been there for a month. Drew got tired of chauffeuring me around so we did something crazy and bought me a lovely 4x4 Chevy Tahoe. It's delightful to drive on the ice. (Of course now since I have it, the weather has been warmer and the ice has completely melted off the roads. Typical.)

I just got around tonight to downloading my Christmas pictures to the computer. I got a new digital camera for Christmas and there was a slight learning curve to the download process. Here's a few of the better ones. So... belated Merry Christmas to ALL!!!

PF getting some Chloe love.

Johnny got Adult Briefs for Xmas. ...Or maybe just a box with something else inside.

Bonnie got a new camera too.

Mattias with his favorite gift.

Sianara 2008!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I hope this year brings everyone good fortune, good health and good times. I really really hope 2009 is a way better year for me then 2008. I can't handle another year of hard times and bad luck.

Drew and I went to Fallbrook, CA for Christmas. It was a fun quick trip down there. The company was great, we got fantastic gifts, and ate delicious food. We got to visit Wendy, Athena, Jonathan, and Nancy too.

Today was my last day at Verizon Wireless. I'll miss my co-workers there because they are a joyful group, but I won't miss the position of greeter. I start working for the dentist on the 5th.
